In today’s challenging real estate market, the most critical issue facing our industry is change. Change? Who really likes change? WAIT! STOP! Do nothing and everything will be fine. But can the “do nothing” approach to managing your business be the right strategy? Not in the economic environment we are facing. Today, real estate companies, brokers and agents need to understand the pressures they face and take clear action to address them head-on.

Today’s real estate business model must see, think and act clearly. Real estate agents need to focus on developing two business attributes:
• Clarity to refocus business strategies;
• Transparency to demonstrate accountability to their Broker and to protect the company’s brand and reputation.

The key to successfully engaging today’s real estate consumer is to be able to demonstrate to your client that you process the education, knowledge, information and skills to use them.

Identify your client’s needs and expectations…deliver an “experience.” The right kind of consumer experience trumps discounted fees and services!

Explain in a crisp, clear way why you offer the right value proposition to your clients. Know how to make your client more valuable. “Wow” your clients and let your competitors bore them.

Today’s consumer wants a clear beginning and end. The successful real estate agent understands the changing needs of the market and gives their clients exactly what they want, when they want it. They will identify and develop a plan for building strategic value. This type of business partnership will protect market share by increasing customer loyalty.

Top agents facilitate the free flow of ideas so that they can better communicate with and understand their client experience. Top agents continuously improve the client experience for long-term loyalty. The end results are more satisfied buyers and sellers.

Today’s consumer has a direct influence on your business model as well as the design and delivery of products and services. REALTORS® must deliver superior consumer value and remember that… Consumer Demands, Creates Consumer Choice!
