Marisol Moreno passed away on the morning of Wednesday, November 8, 2006. After a long battle with leukemia, she has gone to be with the Lord.

Marisol was an active member of the real estate and mortgage community, assisting many people achieve the American dream of homeownership.  She was a broker/owner of Gold Quest Realty & Gold Quest Mortgage Financial. 

Marisol obtained many educational honors, as well, including Master of Laws from The University of Texas at Austin, Attorney University Gran Columbia, Master in Financial Law from South American University, and Journalist/Broadcaster - University of Miami.

Marisol was nominated Hispanic Entrepreneur of the Year by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in the greater Houston area and selected among the top 50 women business owners in Houston by the Houston Business Journal.

Marisol also served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals - Houston Chapter. She also served on several committees with Texas Association of Realtors and currently was a member of the Board of Directors.
