Y. Frank Jungman


Y. Frank Jungman, University of Texas BBA ’48, University of Texas LLB ’50, passed away at age 77 on Apr. 30, 2006 in Houston. While at UT, he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha and Phi Alpha Delta.  During the Korean War, he was appointed a 1st Lt. in the USAF Reserve Judge Advocate General, volunteered for active duty, was assigned to Wichita AFB, KS, being 2nd Wing Base Staff Advocate, retiring as Captain. Frank married Marilyn Skipwith, ’50, in 1952.More

Leslie Louis Appelt, passed away peacefully at his home in Bastrop, Texas, Sunday, April 22.  He served as HAR President in 1966.  Mr. Appelt was a highly respected leader in the commercial real estate industry on both a local and national level for many decades. More

Michael Lewis Stearns


Michael Stearns, co-owner of  Stearns Property Co. since 1980, died unexpectedly on November 18, 2006, in Houston.  He is survived by his wife, Winnie Stearns, Broker/Owner; son, Troy Stearns; daughter, Kelli Farrias; and six grandchildren. Mike graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy, and obtained his law degree and accounting degree from the University of Houston. Mike was about as red-blooded an American as you could find, yet always mild-mannered, soft spoken, and almost shy in his demeanor. You would never guess that he was a war hero, a decorated combat aviator, and fearsome warrior.  He volunteered for some of the most dangerous aviation combat duty in the CIA as a member of the famous Ravens and the Rustics in Vietnam! Among his medals are three purple hearts, three distinctive flying crosses and nine air medals.More

Barbara Miller


Longtime Realtor® Barbara Miller (age 85) passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2006.  From New Jersey, she married Kenneth Dexter Miller in 1942.  They moved to Houston in 1970, and she became an agent with Scott Ernest Company.  In her career she also was with Heritage Texas, John Daugherty, and most recently Arp, Assad, Bobbitt.  She was active in the Tynewood Garden Club, an avid tennis player and recently Captain of a ladies team at the Houstonian Club.  She also loved to breed and show Cocker Spaniels. She will be deeply missed.

Ray Allen Lemmon


RAY ALLEN LEMMON, age 80, left this life on Tuesday, January 9, 2007. He leaves a grieving family and many friends. Ray was born in Houston, Texas on April 6, 1926 and is a proud son of the Republic of Texas. He was a graduate of the University of Houston and served in the United States Marine Corp on Bougainville in the South Pacific during WW II. He started his career as a railroad man with Houston Belt & Terminal Railway, but as his family grew he changed directions and started his company, Ray Lemmon Insurance. More

John Robert Jack Enright, 66, of The Woodlands, passed away on January 11, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was a loving, caring and steadfast husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Lynne Enright, daughters Kathleen Feller and husband Jason, Kelly Fischer and husband Scott, sons Joseph Enright and wife Michelle, Timothy Enright and wife Joy, Andrew Enright and wife Sarah, sister Jane Quirk, brother James Enright, 12 grandchildren and many other loving nieces and nephews.More

Realtors® from the Woodforest and Northeast offices of Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors® joined forces in a fundraising effort for the family of Houston Police Officer Rodney Johnson, who was killed in the line of duty September 21st of this year. The October 28th tribute raised over $5,000 for his wife and five children.More
